New Wages Protection Law

As of 2026, the Department of Labor has proposed new rules to strengthen wage protections. Key actions include raising prevailing wage levels for H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 Visa Programs to protect American worker wages and a new proposal to clarify worker classification, making it easier to identify employees versus independent contractors to ensure proper protection under the FLSA.

For more information, please visit the Department of Labor (DOL)directly.
